We welcome you!
Stark Caverns welcomes groups interested in visiting. School, church or any other civic groups are invited to tour or camp at the caverns with advanced reservations. Stark Caverns’ group tour rate starts at just 10 people (adult or youth), making it an affordable outing for your organization. We prefer to keep our tour group sizes relatively small (no more than 25) so that visitors can better see the sights and engage with their tour guide. If you have more than 25 people in your group, we will offer you the opportunity to break your group into smaller sections and stagger the tour times by 15 minutes. We also now support all-night camping for group sizes of 10 to 40. Camping can take place both inside and outside of the caverns and includes a tour. Campers must be at least 12 years old with 1 adult leader for every 8 teens.
Tours: Adults (13 & up) $14.00 | Youth (5-12) $6.00 | Child (4 & under) Free
For School Groups, students though 12th grade will receive the youth group rate. Teachers & Bus Drivers receive a free pass. A school-affiliated adult must accompany each tour of students through the cavern. Other non-profit youth groups receive the same rate benefit - youth through 12th grade receive a rate of $6, the group leader will get in free and accompanying adults will receive the group adult rate of $14. Non-profit groups should bring their non-profit tax exemption certificate with them.
Camping: Adults (18 & up) $35 | Teens (12 - 18) $25 | Deposit $200
We ask that campers arrive by 4:30 p.m. the day of their camp-out and be packed up to leave by 8:30 the next morning since tours begin at 9. In winter, campers can stay until 9:30 a.m. We have a firecircle that can easily seat 15 and picnic table seating for up to 40. Firewood is available as well. The deposit will be returned if the caverns were left exactly as they were before the campers arrived. We do not have RV hook-ups, but campers will have access to a few electrical outlets inside the caverns. No food is allowed inside the caverns.
